Brock Kammerer has been nominated for Pacific Coast Athletic Player of the Week. Kammerer helped lead the Griffins to a perfect 4-0 record at the Citrus Invitational last weekend.
The Griffins left Glendora 4-0 with wins over host Citrus College 17-10, Chaffey College 10-6, Mount San Antonio College 14-10, and Santa Monica College 16-9.
Kammerer scored 14 goals and 7 assists (2nd in the PCAC for goals scored, leads PCAC in assists). He also has 3 steals and 4 ejections drawn while playing a position that often has him matching up with the other team’s best players.
Kammerer is a 6'1, 190 lb freshman out of University City High in San Diego, CA.
Brock's brother, sophomore Cole Kammerer out of Redlands College/University City High School is right behind at 10 goals. He also is a top 5 leader in the CCCAA state statistics for shots (29).
