WELCOME NEW GC WOMEN'S WP HEAD COACH: SEREENA CASTILLO

Please join Grossmont College Athletics in welcoming Sereena Castillo as our new Head Coach for Women's Water Polo. A San Diego native, Coach Castillo is a proud alumni of Mount Miguel High School Water polo as well as Mesa College's Swim and Water Polo programs. Completing her B.A. and M.A. degrees at SDSU, Coach Castillo was also a member of SDSU's rowing team. Leaving her role as Mt. Miguel's Water Polo Coach to join our Griffin Family, Coach Castillo is extremely passionate about aquatics, education, and student success. When she is not at work helping high school and now college students, Coach Castillo is working with legendary San Diego Club Aquatics Programs such as Golden Wave and South Bay Aquatics helping young people develop life-long passions for the world of aquatics. Griffin Nation is extremely excited about this addition to our Athletics Family and cannot wait to see what this next chapter for Griffins Women's Water Polo brings.
