Grossmont beats Cuyamaca 73 – 69

A tale of two halves and a deeper bench. The Coyotes jumped to an early lead and held a 38-31 lead at the break. In the second half the Griffins shot 48% from the field and for the game scored 23 points off the turnovers they created. Grossmont outscored Cuyamaca 42 – 31 in the second half. The Griffin bench outscored the opponents bench 43 to 12. Led by Sophomores Tyson Lefever 10 points, Tre Stonebraker 11 points and Freshman Sam Mews 11 points.
