To prepare for Commencement Day, Grossmont College Athletics is holding a Student-Athlete Graduation Celebration! The Student-Athlete Graduation Celebration is an effort to recognize the graduating student-athlete's hardwork in the classroom and in competition at Grossmont College.
The Student-Athlete Graduation Celebration is Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 3:30 p.m. in building 41, room 117. At the Student-Athlete Graduation Celebration, each student-athlete will receive a sport sash to wear during Commencement.
Commencement is also Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Grossmont College. It is in the main quad at 5:30 p.m., and the Student Athlete Graduation Celebration begins at 3:30 p.m. in building 41, room 117.
In order for student-athletes to receive their sash, student-athletes should describe their experience as a student-athlete (in 500 words or less), and bring a copy to the Student-Athlete Graduation Celebration.
Fall and winter graduates are encouraged to attend the ceremony and participate in this event with spring graduates in June. Summer session prospective graduates are also invited to participate in the June ceremony.
