Tuesday, October 2-Grossmont College hosted Mt. San Jacinto College in another women's soccer season match-up. Sophomore midfielder Julia Hartman finished the game with a hat trick to secure the 3-2 win for Grossmont.

#9 Hartman, San Diego native out of Patrick Henry High, scored her first goal in the 25 minute from a penalty by Mt. San Jacinto in their defensive goal box (1-1). In the 60', Hartman polished her second when she contested a bouncing ball in front of the Eagles goal (2-1). She found her third and final goal in the 88' (hat trick!), after breaking loose from MSJC's defense for a 1v1 with MSJC's goalkeeper (3-1). With half of the season remaining, Hartman continues to build her stats since the 2017-18 season.

Hartman began playing soccer for GC in the 2017-18 season, starting the 21 games and scoring 15 goals! Add the 7 assists, and the 1-1 penalty kick success to her 2017-18 career and we have ourselves a GREAT player at Grossmont College. This season, Hartman tallies 4 goals so far with half the season remaining.

The next home match for women's soccer is Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 1:00 p.m versus San Bernardino Valley College. All women's soccer games are held at Grossmont College.
